With the help of their wedding industry family, the couple used the new “pop-up” trend to their nuptials in Dallas, Texas, forgoing the justice of the peace to execute their luxury elopement in 3 weeks! To make the day even more memorable, the couple wed on Darren’s mother’s heavenly birthday in her honor. “You know when you work in the industry, you see what’s most important for a wedding. For us that was celebrating our love with close family and friends,” said CiCi.
This year was challenging for the couple. However, their goal was to ensure their family felt appreciated for helping CiCi and Darren keep their pop-up wedding simple and in budget. They displayed their honor of family in the wedding décor using their grandmothers’ as inspiration. The couple’s grandmothers’ favorite colors were blue and their flowers were tulips. CiCi’s love for vintage details helped bring their spirit alive while highlighting her own personality for a wedding no one is soon to forget!
